A well-established Irish organisation operating nationally across a specialised industry sector is seeking a Mid to Senior .NET Developer to join its growing technology team in Cork.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on business-critical systems that support operational processes across multiple sites. The role combines hands-on software development with a strong emphasis on operational support and production system ownership.

The Role

You will be part of a collaborative development team responsible for enhancing and maintaining enterprise applications built on a modern Microsoft stack.

This is not a pure feature-build role — experience supporting live systems, resolving incidents, and working closely with operations teams is essential.

You will:

  • Design, develop and maintain applications using .NET / C#

  • Build and enhance front-end components using Angular

  • Deploy and manage solutions in Microsoft Azure

  • Provide operational support for live systems, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis and performance optimisation

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows

  • Contribute to system improvements, automation and resilience initiatives

  • Participate in release planning and deployment processes

About You

You are a practical, solutions-focused developer who is comfortable owning systems in production.

Essential experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience in .NET development

  • Strong C# and backend development skills

  • Experience building and maintaining Angular applications

  • Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, DevOps, etc.)

  • Proven experience in operations support / production support environments

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in hybrid Dev + Ops environments

Desirable:

  • Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments

  • Exposure to CI/CD, monitoring tools and logging frameworks

  • Experience improving legacy systems
